Cynthia M. Goins is an associate senior consultant with Guttman Development Strategies, Inc. Her more than 25 years of general management and consulting experience have provided her with a broad range of business and focused expertise in human resources, marketing, and sales.

Cynthia has worked as an executive coach and trainer and has helped align business teams to drive up individual and group performance, ultimately increasing the corporation’s profitability. As a human resources professional, Cynthia has worked with senior leaders and corporate teams to develop targeted human resource strategies.
She has designed and implemented strategic recruitment and retention process to place the right people in the appropriate positions to meet company goals. She has also played a vital role in developing and implementing performance appraisal, succession planning, and career development systems.
Cynthia’s corporate experience includes Sara Lee Corporation and Duke Power Company (now Duke Energy). At Sara Lee, she served as a senior strategic HR partner with company presidents and general managers for brands such as Hanes, Champion, Just My Size, and Polo. Previously, with Sara Lee, she was a marketing manager for L’eggs Products, having P&L and management responsibility for a portfolio of brands that included Sheer Energy, Silken Mist, and Just My Size. At Duke Power Company, she held various general management positions and served as director of human resources.
